Is Skydiving Safe?
Yes, over the past 20 years skydiving technology has advanced to the point where your morning commute is statistically more dangerous

What if the parachute doesn't open?
In the rare event that their is a malfunction of your main canopy you have a reserve packed by an FAA certified Rigger. This reserve is also equipped with an automatic opener that will open once below a certain altitude

Can I bring my own camera?
Yes bring your camera along for photos before and after your skydive. During your skydive you will not be able to take any pictures. Our professional video/photo jumpers are there to capture your skydive.

What if I wet my pants
Well, that depends

What is the landing like?
Your parachute landing will be conducted by our expert

Will we see each other when we jump?
You will be able to ride in the airplane and see your friends after your landing, but during your skydive it will be you and your instructor.

What if I am not 18?
Unfortunately, due to local laws we can not accommodate those under 18

What does physically fit mean?
To some degree. On the plane, you may be seated with several others which may require you to keep your knees bent for the ride to altitude. When you land, you will be required to lift your legs up so that your instructor can land the canopy for you. Due to the nature of skydiving, it is recommended that if you have a serious heart condition, epillepsy, or if you are pregnant, that you refrain from this activity.

Can I bring family/friends?
Absolutely, you are encouraged to bring spectators to your tandem skydive. They will be able to take a bus over to the landing zone to watch your landing.

What about the weather?
Skydiving is very weather sensitive and in Colorado the weather changes quickly and often! We at Colorado SkySports are focused on safety always, so we will wait out any inclement conditions to insure that your sky dive is as enjoyable and safe as is possible. This is one of the reasons that we request that you plan 2-4 hours for your entire Colorado SkySports skydive experience- we want everything to be just perfect for your tandem skydive.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Please call 303-545-5867 if you cannot make your reservation for any reason.

How fast do I fall?
Terminal velocity is 120mph. Due to various factors, you may fall a bit slower or faster than this.

How high will I jump from?
Freefall will take place from over 10,000 feet in the air. You will skydive from over 2 miles above the earth.
